It's here!

Good morning

Christmas is coming! I can't wait. I get excited every year, and I can officially start obsessing about it now. I already have a super-chic pile of gifts in the corner of my room. I'm going for a red-and-white colour scheme this year. They all come with thoughtful labels, too. So. Excited.

Unfortunately, these days I barely have the time to cook meals, let alone take photos. It's a passing phase. Though there are lots of beautiful trees around where I live.

Meanwhile, if you're a photographer check this out:

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, the day after Friday the 13th. An ominous sign for all involved? My horoscope says I'm going to get run over by a train. Really. I think it would be more romantic on the Saturday though, I don't really want to become a statistical cliche.

What are you doing this VD?

Some of you may have noticed that I fell off the face of the earth lately.

I haven't, really. In fact, I've been taking lots of photos of lots of beautiful, fantastical things. I've been writing and painting (mostly my toenails though). Funny, though, how unless it's converted into bits and binary it might as well not exist.

If a tree falls over in the forest with nobody to see it, does it still make a sound? In fact, does it fall over at all, or does it stealthily wait until something comes by (an owl, an ant, anything) to fall? Trees are such drama queens.

I digress. I should be posting a lot more things soon. I have a trip to Paris planned for mid-September (no photo gallery is complete without a gratuitous touristy shot of the Eiffel Tower!).

Everlastingly yours,
Alice

I found my camera charger in the debris that is my table drawer. And you know what that means, kids! After the tomato vegicide photo, no more grain. Evar. (Unless I lose it again)

Alex and I did the running man at 3 in the morning last night. My friends are really awesome people. :aww:
